Current Unit: We have moved on to a new unit of fiction. In our class, we will be reading the novel Bud, Not Buddy as well as the 6th grade Junior Great Books series. We will continue writing texts in an organized, descriptive manner and having daily group discussions following the shared inquiry model.
Our daily mission: Students will come to class and write down the homework in their agenda. They will organize their materials and have their completed assignments in front of them ready and willing to learn and participate.
Homework: Homework is expected to be turned in on time. If you are absent, it is your job to check the Wiki site for homework and turn it in when you arrive. You may turn in late homework into the teachers' mailbox up to two days late for a 10% reduction each day.
